"Here is the check showing the phenomenal amount for this year. "Thank you" is such and empty phrase for such a huge donation, not just of money... but time, effort and dedication to wanting to make a difference. I am just overwhelmed every year by this event and the money raised.  Such wonderful people raising money doing something they enjoy with their beautiful horses...what heart warming generosity. I am filled with gratitude and my tears are flowing with appreciation."

HOW CAN YOU HELP CHILDREN'S WISHES AND DREAMS?

You can help grant wishes for local children by:
VOLUNTEERING for FUNDRAISING or VOLUNTEERING for WISHES or any amount of MONETARY DONATION, OFFICE SUPPLIES, STAMPS, THANK YOU CARDS, BIRTHDAY CARDS, BLANKETS, TEDDY BEARS.

We thank Twigs for offering us this fundraising opportunity. We raised $197.14Type your paragraph here.

convoy

Unfortunately, because of the increased costs associated with permits, and the city’s new requirement that we pay to have  the Yakima police officers as escorts, we are canceling the ‘Convoy for Wishes’ this year. This is always a fun event for everyone who participates, but as of now the costs make the Convoy less lucrative for fundraising. We hope to bring back the Convoy at some point in the future.

Thank you for your understanding.

The 6th Annual Run for Your Life with the PNWU Students was held on Saturday, April 16th and began at the Notrthtown Coffee.

They choose a different non-profit every year, happily this year they chose us. The 5K Run/Walk & Health Fair was to raise money for wishes and promote health & fitness. They raised   $18,172.54 and had 550 Runners/Walkers and 29 Health Fair Exhibits.

We thank the PNWU students for selecting Children’s Wishes & Dreams to be this year’s recipient. The community support was so heartwarming and encouraging for our wish granting efforts. We could not grant all of our wishes if not for the tremendous support from our community.

We appreciate you!

Thank You so much for all the help Santa, Volunteers, and Roots Nursery for your support.

Hearts for Wishes

raised $1,770 to help with wishes. The winner this year was Yakima Federal Savings & Loan Stadium Branch. We thank them for their wonderful support with this every year and their lovely display of hearts sold. We hope to have more businesses participate next year. Please let me know if you are interested in having your business sell hearts in January & February.

Who would have thought that it could be more than last years $20,000, but we were blown away with this tremendously generous donation of $22,000! The hard work and dedication of this group for this fundraising event is just unbelievable. They really are wonderful and so appreciated!  There is so much that goes into it and they do it all for 3 non-profits - Children's Wishes & Dreams, Wellness House and Heartlinks. This will bring so many smiles as we grant more wishes. Thank you Sort-4-The-Cause!
